L' Angolo Scrap di Nadia: Deep Blue

oggi ho il piacere di condividere con voi questo LO realizzato per il DT Call di Modascrap.

Era da un pò che volevo scrappare questa foto di mia figlia, ma non avevo mai l'ispirazione.

Hello everyone,

today I've pleased to share with you a layout that I've created for Modascrap DT call.

I wanted to use this photo of my daughter in a layout for a long time, but I could't make up my mind ... then I saw this paper pad( https://www.modascrap.it/collections/frontpage/products/modascrap-paper-pack-memories-on-canvas-12x12 ), I had a sudden burst of inspiration!

Per il mio progetto ho deciso di usare la patterned n.4 che trovo adattissima al tema della foto, perchè mi ricorda il mare.

For this project I've decided to use patterned paper n.4, that I believe it's perfect for my photo, becouse it reminds me of the sea.

Visto che il tono di blu della carta è molto forte ho deciso di attenuarlo passando una mano di gesso qua e là.

Considering that the blue hue was too strong, I've decided to tone it down a bit with some strokes of gesso.

A questo punto, deciso dove avrei posizionato la foto, ho fatto una serie di timbrate sovrapposte usando lo stesso timbro ma con colori diversi, per dare movimento allo sfondo.

When I've finally decided the right place for my photo, I've made some overlapping stamping using the same stamp, but with different colors in order to add movement to the background.

Visto che nella foto Asia sta uscendo dall'acqua, ho deciso di spatolare un pò di pasta sabbia, proprio per dare l'effetto del bagnasciuga.

As in the picture Asia is getting out of water, I've decided to add some sand paste with the help of a spatula, in order to give a "water's edge" effect.

La mattatura della foto è stata fatta con del vellum per far intravedere il blu dello sfondo.

Under the picture I placed a piece of vellum in order to let the blue backgroung peek through.

A parte ho timbrato e colorato dei fiori, che sono andata a ritagliare per usarli come abbellimenti.

Trovo che i fiori stiano bene ovunque. La pensate come me?

Then I've stamped, colored and fussy cut some flowers to use them as embellishments.

I believe that flowers always look good in a project. Do you agree?

Per ultimo ho ritagliato alcune etichette che saranno da abbellimento in alternanza con i fiori.

Dopo che ho assemblato il mio LO ho avuto cura di coprire la foto e ho schizzato sul progetto dell' acrilico bianco, infine ho messo una punta di Dots Mania Trasparent (https://www.modascrap.it/collections/dots-mania/products/modascrap-dots-mania-trasparent) nel centro di ogni fiore.

After assembling my layout, I've covered the picture and I've splashed all over with write acrylic paint and finally I've put a drop of Dots Mania Trasparent (https://www.modascrap.it/collections/dots-mania/products/modascrap-dots-mania-trasparent) in the centre of every flowers.
